How to Request Data Deletion from Payday.id

Option 1: Through Your Account Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Payday.id account
  2. Navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security
  3. Click on “Request Data Deletion”
  4. Select the type of data you wish to delete:
    • Account information
    • Social media connection data
    • Transaction history
    • All personal data (full account deletion)
  5. Confirm your identity with your password
  6. Submit your request

What Gets Deleted

1. Account Information

  • Profile details (name, email, phone)
  • Login credentials
  • Account preferences
  • Communication history

2. Social Media Data

  • API connection tokens and permissions
  • Retrieved social media data stored on our servers
  • Analytics and insights generated from your social media
  • Note: We will disconnect from social media APIs but cannot delete data from the original social media platforms

3. Service Data

  • Payment information (except where required by law)
  • Usage history
  • Generated reports and analyses
  • Support tickets and communications

What May Be Retained

We retain certain information when required by:

  • Legal obligations (tax, financial regulations)
  • Security purposes (fraud prevention)
  • Contractual requirements
  • Legitimate business interests

Specifically, we may retain:

  • Transaction records for financial compliance (7 years minimum)
  • Information related to ongoing disputes
  • Aggregated, anonymized data for analytics
  • Logs necessary for security investigations

Deletion Timeline

  • Immediate: Account deactivation upon request
  • Within 24 hours: Removal from active databases
  • Within 30 days: Complete deletion from all systems and backups
  • Confirmation: You will receive email confirmation at each stage

Important Considerations

Before Requesting Deletion:

  1. Download your data using our data export tool
  2. Cancel any active subscriptions
  3. Settle outstanding payments
  4. Save important information you may need later

After Deletion:

  1. Your account cannot be recovered
  2. You must create a new account to use our services again
  3. Social media connections will need to be reauthorized
  4. Historical data and preferences will be lost

Special Cases

1. Business Accounts

Enterprise customers should contact their account manager for customized deletion procedures.

2. Linked Accounts

Deleting your Payday.id account does not delete your social media accounts. You must manage those separately on each platform.

3. Third-Party Data

We cannot delete data that:

  • Has been shared with third parties (with your consent)
  • Is part of aggregated, anonymized datasets
  • Has been processed by machine learning models (anonymized)

Confirmation Process

You will receive:

  1. Immediate: Auto-acknowledgment of your request
  2. Within 24 hours: Detailed deletion plan
  3. Within 30 days: Completion certificate
  4. 45-day follow-up: Final confirmation of deletion
